LaMarcus Aldridge was spotted heading into lunch with Spurs coach Gregg Popovich.

Aldridge is headed back home to Texas.  He chose to sign with the San Antonio Spurs over numerous teams that attempted to persuade the NBA star to sign.

The Spurs just became contenders.

The are hoping that Tim Duncan will pass the team over to Aldridge similar to the way in which David Robinson equipped Duncan to take over the Spurs.
