Cavaliers Prove That They Have What It Takes To Compete With The NBA's Top Teams

Video Game James LeBron transformed into Video Game James against the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday, December 21, 2014.  That figure that just darted across the screen with his hand up to request an alley-oop was LBJ when the Turbo button is used.  LeBron looked better than ever against the Griz who have the 3rd best record in the Western Conference.  LeBron and the Cavs rose to the occasion defeating the Griz 105-91. On December 19, 2014, LeBron passed Charles Barkley and is now 23rd on the NBA's All-Time Scoring List.  Mike Miller could not miss a shot and LeBron had another solid game scoring on Joe Johnson at-will. Young Forever Kyrie Irving looked great as him and LeBron continue to learn to work together.  Anyone familiar with LeBron's personality understands that he is a kid at heart and he truly loves the game.  He enjoys the company of positive teammates that he is able to share his love for the game with.  There are far too many players in the NBA that have lost t

Automatic Clutch and The Future Impact of Too Many Minutes

Numb Remember when we used to wonder if LeBron was nervous when he took 4th quarter shots? On Tuesday, December 9, 2014, with just under 1 minute left in the game, the Cavs and Raptors were tied at 99.   LeBron catches the ball at the top of the key (he looked somewhat surprise) and knocks down a three despite two defenders running towards him.   After two championships, clutch shots are no longer a big deal for LeBron. Deep threes in the 4th quarter of December 4’s Knicks game, along with solid defense on Melo also shows that LBJ is on another level.   Nerves? Bron is strictly business at this point, no time to feel. All the chatter about whether LeBron will ever win a championship has stopped and the purest form of his greatness can now be seen regardless of how much time is left in the game. Time After Time The bad news about the Raptors game is that LeBron played 40+ minutes.   This was no big deal in Miami, where Bosh and Wade allowed him to take possessions off.   After

Change Remember when Charles Barkley declared that he was not a role model by any means.  Swoosh! He did such an effective job of dodging responsibility it was amazing.  Then a couple decades went by and we realized that we do not decide whether we are role models, people designate others as their role models.  Whether you like it or not, if a person decides that they look up to you, they will emulate your style, your actions, your thought…etc.  The Eric Garner tragedy is an issue that is receiving a large amount of publicity.  Many young people simply do not know how to handle the situation.  They see people protest, they hear their parent’s conversations at home and they have seen the issue debated for weeks on TV. I can't breathe The rumor is that LeBron James will be wearing a shirt to honor the memory of Eric Garner at his next game.  We have come a long way.  LeBron James has been ridiculed for setting a bad example in
